Bizit is a digital business card creation, local showroom directory, merchant networking, and offer discovery platform designed to connect consumers with verified local business owners.

Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, store, and safeguard your personal information when you use our mobile app or web services, and outlines your choices regarding data retention, location services, and account deletion.

We collect information to deliver core digital business card creation, catalog viewing, and local merchant discovery features:

A. Account & Authentication Information

Google Sign-In: Name, profile avatar URL, email address, and Google ID token when signing in via Google.
Truecaller 1-Tap Auth: Verified phone number, full name, and Truecaller identifier when authenticating using Truecaller.
Email & Password: Email address and encrypted password hash for standard account registration.

B. Digital Business Card & Merchant Listing Data

Business details including business name, tagline, category, operational address, contact phone numbers, WhatsApp links, and website URLs.
Uploaded media assets including business logos, showcase banner images, catalog product photos, promotional stories, and business video reels.

C. Location & Geolocation Data

With your explicit permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION), Bizit accesses your device's geographical location to display nearby verified businesses, calculate showroom distances, filter local deals, and enable location-based map views. Location data is processed ephemerally and is not sold to third parties.

D. Device Identifiers & Analytics

We may collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic information such as device model, OS version, app crash logs, and performance metrics via Google Firebase Analytics to improve app performance and stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively for the following purposes:

To create, display, and distribute your digital business card and merchant profile to prospective clients and app users.
To enable location-based showroom navigation, map browsing, and distance calculations.
To send transactional alerts, store notifications, and updates regarding your published business cards or deal inquiries.
To facilitate customer-to-merchant communications via phone calls, WhatsApp, or direct messaging.
To maintain app security, prevent fraudulent business listings, and ensure compliance with our content policies.

4. Data Storage & Third-Party Services

We utilize enterprise-grade security standards and trusted infrastructure providers to safeguard your information:

AWS S3 & CloudFront CDN: Used to securely host uploaded business card images, catalog photos, and business video reels.
Google Play Services & Maps API: Used for map rendering, address geocoding, and Android app updates.
Firebase Push Notifications: Used to deliver real-time deal alerts and notification updates to your mobile device.

        We Do Not Sell Your Data: Bizit does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, contact information, or location logs to third-party data brokers or marketing companies.
      

5. Your Rights & Account Data Deletion

You maintain full control over your data stored within the Bizit platform:

Editing Listings: You can edit or remove published business cards, products, and offer listings at any time inside the app.
Location Permissions: You can revoke location permissions at any time via your device settings.
Account Deletion Request: You have the right to request full account and data deletion. When deleted, all account profiles, business card listings, and uploaded images are permanently purged from our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Bizit is intended for business professionals, merchants, and general users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately for deletion.
